Throughout her career, she has earned a reputation for effectively engaging with clients who exhibit aggressive or manipulative behaviors in various mental health settings.

In recognition of her dedication to combating domestic violence, she was honored in 2006 by the YWHA in Elizabeth, New Jersey, as one of ten men committed to this cause.
