Digital CoLab, UC Davis Health’s innovation hub, will spearhead the CIC’s initiatives. It will act as a conduit between clinicians, researchers, students, and the community, facilitating co-creation, validation, and transformation of digital health solutions. Situated at Aggie Square, a forthcoming innovation hub designed for business partners and community programs, the CIC will serve as a central point for the Sacramento community to engage in challenges aimed at enhancing care and digital health equity.

Both UC Davis Health and AWS will allocate personnel to engage with students, the community, and organizations in identifying and addressing real-world challenges related to digital health equity. The results of these initiatives, including proofs of concept, will be made available as open-source resources for community members to utilize and expand upon.
