The new AWS Partner Program for SaaS was announced, along with the debut of the Amazon API Gateway. AWS CodeCommit, AWS CodePipeline, and the AWS Service Catalog became officially available. An update was rolled out for the AWS CLI, along with several SDKs, including those for Ruby, .NET, and JavaScript. Additionally, the Amazon Mobile App Distribution Blog encouraged developers to build engaging second-screen experiences for Amazon Fire TV using the new Amazon Fling SDK.
