We are pleased to announce that our AWS Region in Europe (London) has successfully renewed its accreditation for the Police-Assured Secure Facilities (PASF) for Official-Sensitive data. Since 2017, the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Europe (London) Region has held this important accreditation, underscoring our unwavering commitment to meeting the stringent security expectations of our customers in UK law enforcement. With this renewal, our UK law enforcement clients who require PASF can confidently operate their applications within the accredited AWS Europe (London) Region.

The PASF program is a well-established assurance process utilized by UK law enforcement to ensure the security of facilities like data centers that house critical applications containing police data. This program includes a defined set of security requirements, an on-site inspection, and an audit interview with facility representatives.

The renewal of our accreditation was confirmed by the Police Digital Service (PDS) on May 27, 2025. A confirmation letter is accessible via AWS Artifact. Additionally, UK police forces and law enforcement organizations can verify AWS’s compliance status through the PDS.
