In the aftermath of toxic relationships, individuals often find their self-esteem and confidence severely impacted. These damaging connections can lead to a loss of faith in one’s support network and an erosion of trust in one’s own judgment.
As a coach and therapist specializing in assisting those affected by narcissism, sociopathy, and Borderline Personality Disorder, I believe that healing often blossoms through supportive connections. These can come from one-on-one therapy, peer groups, or new relationships with understanding partners. However, these connections can be delicate; in tumultuous relationships, we frequently question our perception of reality and our ability to evaluate others accurately.
In my work with individuals recovering from tumultuous partnerships, I have observed the immense value of group education and support. By sharing personal experiences and listening to others, participants can cultivate a sense of belonging, practice self-kindness, and develop courage and self-worth.
This spring, I am excited to announce two five-week teleseminars designed for those affected by toxic relationships: the ‘Navigating Relationship Recovery’ Teleseminar and the ‘Rebuilding After a Challenging Romance’ Workshop. The first seminar is tailored for individuals seeking to exit and heal from confusing relationships, whether they are still ongoing or have ended. The second workshop focuses on the complexities of starting new romantic connections after experiencing a difficult relationship with a narcissist, sociopath, or other emotionally manipulative partners.
Both teleseminars include five sessions starting Tuesday, April 19, 2016, and are offered in two time slots—midday and evening—to accommodate participants from various time zones and work schedules. Attendees can join via phone or a digital link and can access recorded sessions if they miss any. Both courses emphasize skill-building and confidence enhancement within a compassionate, understanding environment.
Healing takes time, community, and the right tools. Group teleseminars present an excellent opportunity to learn alongside others, receive support, and gradually rebuild trust in your own judgment and in others.
