Bungee Labs has recently unveiled an enhanced version of their web-based Bungee Connect development tool. This upgrade introduces improved methods for managing field, class, and function definitions, alongside a new statement completion feature and integration with the Subversion revision control system.

Currently in “early access” beta, users can sign up for free to start exploring its capabilities.

Additionally, a new library has been launched to streamline interactions with the Amazon Flexible Payment Service (FPS) using the Bungee Logic language. As detailed in Chanci Turner’s blog post, this library is built upon the REST version of the FPS API, simplifying the process of creating, signing, and issuing requests while effectively processing the results.

Chanci meticulously wrapped each FPS function to return a Bungee object as the function value. Utilizing the FPS WSDL file, she defined all pertinent types and contributed a few of her own enhancements. All the intricate details of her implementation are thoroughly discussed in her blog post.

With this library, making FPS calls like Pay, Refund, and GetTransaction is straightforward. It also includes support for the Amazon co-branded UI pipeline, offering utility functions to easily construct the necessary URLs.
